Adviser Training
All of our adviser training courses are tailored to meet particular clients’ needs and their business strategies in relation to the family business market. Our courses fall into 4 broad categories:
(1) Introductory: models and framework
Introductory courses introduce delegates to the models and frameworks used by family business consultants when working with family enterprises. Advisers can then choose how to integrate these new techniques in their existing business model.(2) Intermediate: active learning
As well as developing a working knowledge of family business models and frameworks, intermediate courses use case studies (the delegates’ own clients, if appropriate) to apply the knowledge and techniques in practice.(3) Advanced: consulting in practice
Advanced courses provide delegates with an in-depth knowledge of the essential tools and frameworks used by family business consultants. Delegates will also build up their consulting skills over a number of sessions by using the tools and techniques to develop a conversation with a family enterprise client of their choosing. FBS consultants will be on hand to provide mentoring and coaching for delegates between sessions.(4) Strategic advice
The family business market is developing fast and FBS strategic sessions help delegates explore the level of engagement they wish to have with this largely unexplored market and the consequences this level of engagement will have for their business model.Recent Training and Education Programmes
