Louise Fisher
I joined FBS in 2004 after qualifying as a lawyer specialising in corporate and commercial law. It is important for the future of FBS that there is a next generation of advisers who choose family business and family office consulting as their primary career. We, as consultants, need to take the advice we offer clients about the importance of planning for the future.
I am particularly interested in working with next generation of enterprising families. This includes education and training for the next generation and help with making important choices about roles in the family enterprise. My expertise in this area is reflected in Preparing the Successor Generation, a chapter I wrote for Business Families and Family Businesses: The STEP Handbook for Advisers.
FBS is committed to disseminating our ideas and experience to a wider audience, so like others in the group, I am involved in training and education programmes, including bespoke next generation development programmes.
